Game update 0.17.0+



Hello! It's been a while since the last devlog, and yet again, much has changed!
The entire intro sequence has been reworked from the ground up in order to acquaint the players with the mechanics better, is better paced, and overall is much closer to how it will be in the finished product. Not to mention the functional slide in the starting area!
Weather added. 0.16 didn't have any weather effects or much going on atmospherically, so I decided to change that. There is now rain and thunder. The result is a much more oppressive feeling world that matches very closely to what I imagined for the final product.
New location. A church was added, and is the location that most of the game's story will revolve around, which is for the most part yet to be implemented.
AI improvements. AI is less likely to spot you if you crouch now, they respond better to audio stimuli, and will investigate sounds of thrown objects as well as footsteps.
New Enemy (2nd image). This one is actually a creature I created a while back for a different project, the Meat Mite joins this game as a surprisingly well-fitting addition. It spews projectile spit and is not the easiest creature to pin down.
